From Earth to Venus to Neptune to 1RXS J160929.1-210524, the Blackberry outage has left our blue marble and is now “impacting users on almost every planet”, according to CNN reporting live from Uranus.
Blackberry users in Pluto are safe for now because Pluto is not a bloody planet. However, you can poke fun at their ancient, slow, ugly keyboard phones just the same. [Twitpic via mklopez]

This is hilarious. One for the Failblog.
I should also point out for the sake of balance that not all blackberrys are “ancient, slow, ugly keyboard phones”.
True. Some are ancient, slow, ugly touchscreen phones.
I should also point out for the sake of balance, that no matter how good the hardware. The O/S is a flaming pile of poo.
From a back-end perspective *snicker*
I have had the displeasure of administering many BES servers over the years and I can honestly say, those things felt like they ran on hamsters and etcha-sketches. Ive not touched a BES server in a while, but I honestly believe they have put ZERO R’nD into it. It’s crazy how RIM have failed to put money or time into the BES aspect, as its one of the primary selling features over other ‘business’ phones.
Maybe they have, but, i never saw it…
*3 day outages* There primary hamster, DR hamster and redundant hamster all died of old age I reckon. That or there little zimmer frames collapsed
Blackberry is in a pretty bad financial state, so if they go bust, what happens to your phones? Yep, pretty much useless (be honest, that’s the only reason that somebody would buy a BlackBerry over iPhone/Android/etc). Think about that…
Most of you have probably heard this, but i heard it on the radio today and thought id share it with the few others who have also been living in a cave.
We all know Blackberry has been experiencing major problems of late, but lets all keep our fingers crossed that Iphones and Ipods dont suffer the same fate, otherwise we’ll have a massive Blackberry and Apple crumble.
Not heard it yet and am currently LMAO. I’m also now bloody hungry you swine and am going to have to source out my own Crumble.
Hmmm… I wonder if this was posed on Gizmodo US… next time I drop by I’ll take an umbrella to protect me from the falling glass
