I’d be certain Michael Bay’s behind this Asus EeePad Transformer 2 teaser video, if it weren’t for the suspicious lack of explosions. Everything else is so amazingly, hilariously, gaudy-ing-ly over-the-top that you can’t help but want one. Even without hearing it’s reportedly set to be the first tablet with a quad-core Tegra 3. At the risk of the ban-hammer (Jesus? you’re not lurking somewhere are you)
I read somewhere this actually can run Crysis 2…:( No … really… I did.
It is, Kal-El, after all.
Haha, no banhammers are allowed on this site — don’t you worry!
Wouldn’t be surprised if it can run THE WORLD, judging by that video.
Well the first Transformer couldn’t do 1080p (which left me rather disappointed and considering downscaling the movie collection on the NAS), but it can still do some impressive things on the Tegra chip (Riptide GP for one).
This device, if it’s as powerful as they are claiming, could be a gamechanger for tablets.
My god, as you said Michael Bay eat your heart out!
Americans have always been over reactive on a lot of things.
I was expecting explosions! But I understand the Bay reference. However doesn’t make me want it.
Get me a capable tablet for £150, and I will consider it.
“Is This Not the Most OTT Tablet Teaser Ever?”
I always find these sort of questions difficult to answer. I’m never sure if the answer is “yes, it isn’t” or “no, it is”.
Graham Taylor was a fan of these with his “Do I not like that?” (which he didn’t) and his “Can we not just knock it?” (which we couldn’t).
Would be more effective if the man at the end didn’t say “ASUS”
Got to say I saw a few shiny 3D blocks and that was it. This is Kal-El, and considering this that advert ain’t OTT enough. Kal-El for f*ck sake, it deserves bigger and better shiny blocks than this.
I got chills watching this. It was very entertaining.
