Asus and Acer: The Netbook Is Dead
Asus' Ultrabooks Will Cost From £600
Asus Taichi: Ultrabook in Front, Tablet in the Back
Good! Aluminium is NOT a good material for laptops. It’s easily dented.
Something like fibreglass would be though, tough enough to not dent and still lightweight.
Can an ultrabook be 15in ? Thought it was 11 or 13!
Shame really, I like a solid, well-built laptop. And a computer with a metal chassis is as solid as it gets.
Then again, if it’s something that could bring the price of ultrabooks in the range of normality, I’m all for it!
