Sony has launched what it’s calling the Sony Entertainment Network, a simpler new umbrella that wraps up its disparate music, video and gaming options into one package.
The new mega-network combines Sony’s Music Unlimited, Video Unlimited and PlayStation Network brands, with Sony offering new users a 30-day free trial access period to Music Unlimited and its seven million tracks for all new joiners. It will be, for Sony fans, the “ULTIMATE SOURCE FOR DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT.”
If that’s not enough, there’s also a new Android tablet version of its Music Unlimited app for owners of its Sony Tablet S, which arrives with a free 180-day trial of the basic MU service. [SEN via Telegraph]
