Thai Floods Hit Sony Camera Launches

By Sam Gibbs on at

It's not only hard drive manufacturers that have been feeling the aftermath of the Thai floods -- Sony's the latest victim, forcing them to put off two camera launches indefinitely.

Both the NEX-7 and the Alpha a65 SLT won't see the light of day for the foreseeable future due to the impact of the floods. Sony's had to shut two of its three Thai production plants, which follows on from the Japan disasters earlier this year.

It's not been a good time for Sony what with TVs melting, the PlayStation Network getting hacked yet again and now this. Poor Sony just can't catch a break. [TechRadar]
