Brave young David Knott took to the London streets to steal himself a new TV back during London's summer of discontent, despite being in a wheelchair with a broken leg. That's some impressive dedication to social unrest.
Knott, together with his accomplice, looted Argos for the ALBA-branded TV, then used his wheelchair as a trolley to help make their escape. He was caught on CCTV waiting outside the shop, while another bloke was seen placing "a television on his lap before wheeling him away from the store".
Knott pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods and got 12 months in prison. All for a low-spec ALBA.
