Where Can I Get Myself a Lumia 800 in the UK?

By Sam Gibbs on at

The Nokia Lumia 800 has just been unveiled at Nokia World and already news is trickling in about availability. According to Phones 4U, the Nokia's new flagship will hit the UK on 16th of November, but they're here now in stores to play with.

Phones 4U has the Lumia 800 listed for free on a £31 a month contract with both Orange and Vodafone as of this minute. If you're really desperate you can even pre-order one right now and grab yourself a free Nokia accessory pack. As an added bonus, Phones 4U will also have a couple of 800s in each of their stores starting today -- just so you can get a bit of hands-on time with it before deciding whether or not Nokia's hit the mark.

Carphone Warehouse are also getting in the pre-order game -- sweetening their offerwith a £50 gift card giveaway when you pre-order the Lumia 800. The gift card can be used in Sainsburys, Debenhams, Next or Toys R Us, so not to be sniffed at. They'll even throw in an accessories bundle worth £50, if you grab the phone on a £31 per month or higher contract. According to Recombu, the Lumia 800 will set you back £449.95 on PAYG.

Three and Vodafone UK have also confirmed that they'll be carrying the Lumia 800 separately at launch, but no pricing details are available as of writing.

Clove have just blogged that they'll have the Lumia 800 for £442.80 off network and that it's currently up for pre-order. Not that cheap-a-phone then.

Update: As kindly pointed out by nsw1982 in the comments, Nokia has Vodafone's pricing up and Voda's upped the ante on the free gifts with a total of £60's worth of vouchers for the first 10,000 bought.
