Android Market Update Sets Apps to Auto Update, PayPal Payments Coming Soon

By Gary Cutlack on at

Google's latest update of its Android Market app adds a few nice little tweaks, most notably the option to have all apps automatically update themselves by default, rather than users having to select the auto-update toggle manually for each.

Google has also added the option to only update apps when your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi signal in the 3.3.11 version of the app, which will make downloading the numerous updates of the bloated Facebook app easier.

Also, those who enjoy disassembling code and rummaging through it have discovered numerous mentions of PayPal within the new app, which confirms that, after well over a year of rumours, we may soon see Google introduce PayPal as an alternate payment method for your app buying needs. [AndroidGuys]
