I initially thought this building, designed by Japanese firm Eastern Design Office, had an eating disorder. But really, the On-The-Corner house has a triangular wedge design that, when viewed at just the right angle, nearly makes it look two-dimensional.
Comprised of stone, glass and metal, the optical effect of the design is aided by the razor sharp point the building comes to. Inside, the building houses seven flats, each with two bedrooms. I'd probably sell my mother to live in one. [Eastern Design Office via Design-Milk]
