Ooops, looks like Nokia’s let slip that it’s got another Windows Phone up its sleeve, and it looks like the rumoured Ace — perhaps its true flagship. The video was quickly pulled, but not before someone made a copy.
Comparing screen sizes and the UI, estimates come in at a 4-inch display, but the phone obviously has a bit of Lumia 800 DNA in it. Let’s hope this device really comes in and blows the socks off the competition. Don’t get me wrong, the Lumia 800 is a fine device, but it’s not awe-inspiring like a flagship should be. If this is the flagship phone I’m expecting then this’ll be my next phone after my contract runs out in January.
Interesting…
Still not getting it though. As cool as the WP7 OS looks. I’m rather too firmly entrenched in the Apple ecosystem to pull out of it without having some significant setbacks, such as not having content being pushed right onto my phone with iCloud and such.
That’s the problem facing both Android and iOS users. The apps and other various sundries lock you into the OS.
Haha, that’s why I’m happy I’ve managed to stick to WM6.5 until something has stuck out.
Yeah, not only are there the apps to contend with, but also the fact that I have pretty much all-Apple devices; MacBook Pro, iPhone, iPad…. Etc etc.
It means I get a lot more features, such as being able to take full advantage of iCloud, being able to synch data on all my devices really easily and such. WP7 looks great and I do like Nokia phones, but neither would synch with such cohesiveness as my iOS devices do with my MacBook Pro.
