Nokia's been at it again with the crazy concepts, revealing the GEM -- a phone that's wrapped entirely in one continuous array of touchscreens. You'll never be able to stop wiping fingerprints off it.
The GEM has been put together to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Nokia Research Centre, with the core idea being to let the phone change appearance dependent on function. Set it to camera mode, and the screens will change to make it look like a camera, that sort of thing. It's one huge interchangeable case.
Microsoft will also love it, as one of the possible uses for this mass of interactive display area is... displaying advertising. But it's only a concept at the moment with no plans to actually make it. Which is probably for the best. [Nokia]
