Olympic Torch Will Pass Bletchley Park on its UK Tour

Full details of the route the Olympic Torch will take as it criss-crosses the country on its way to London 2012 have been revealed, with The Flame set to pass through a part of Milton Keynes known as Bletchley Park.

Bletchley is of course world-famous already, thanks to the amazing code-breaking efforts of its staff during WWII -- and the continuing modern-day fund-raising appeals to help the place stay open as a living memorial to its work in cracking the Nazi encryption and helping end the war.

But from next summer it'll be better known to some as the pretty English backdrop for a few minutes of modern media kerfuffle, as the massive Olympic entourage rolls past the National Codes Centre on Monday July 9th. [Olympic Flame Route Map via Metro]
