Sky Unveils 10 Limited Edition Designer Sky+HD Boxes to Celebrate 10 Years of Sky+

By Sam Gibbs on at

It's been 10 years since Sky's built-in PVR hit our living rooms, and it's been glorious. Recording what we want, when we want and all automatically. Now with the rise of catch-up VOD, is the Sky+ box dead? Sky doesn't think so.

Its rolled out 10 limited edition 1TB Sky+HD boxes, exclusively designed by some of "Britain's most high profile fashion, fabric and jewellery designers" including: Matthew Williamson, Richard Nicoll, Agent Provocateur, Celia Birtwell, Julie Verhoeven, Solange Azagury-Partridge, and Farrow & Ball.

The boxes will set you back £49 if you're upgrading to HD, or £149 if you're already a Sky HD customer, and are up for pre-order now, if any of them really take your fancy. ThinkI'll stick to my glossy black one thanks. It fits nicely in with the rest of my black TV gear.
