Twitter aims to show us just how powerful a tweet can be with the launch of a spin-off site called Twitter stories. Showcasing 'life changing' tweets, the most inspirational 140-character messages are highlighted and given a backstory.
Lots of important things have had their happenings portrayed on Twitter -- the Middle Eastern revolutions and the UK riots spring to mind -- but a quick look at Twitter Stories shows that it's going with a more personal perspective. Stories of how a bloke saved his 'mom's' book store with a tweet, and how someone else crowd sources and shares train information through Twitter. Inspirational stuff I'm sure you'll agree, but it's probably worth checking out now and again, if only for the tweets from orbit. [Twitter via TechRadar]
