RIM’s BBX — sorry — BlackBerry OS 10 roadmap has codenamed devices named after fancy cities. We’ve already spied the London, but now the BlackBerry addicts over at CrackBerry have managed to get their mits on a leaked image of the latest in the metropolitan line, the BlackBerry Milan.
There’s nothing other than an image to go on here I’m afraid — no specs or no details on the portrait slider. But using our eyes we can deduce a couple of things: A) it has both a physical keyboard and a touchscreen; B) there’s no optical trackpad, or navigation buttons at all; and C) it’s got a pretty big screen. We don’t know a whole lot about the BB OS 10 interface, other than what we can assume from the PlayBook, but it looks like it’s going to be pretty gesture driven if this is anything to go by.
Will it be enough to get BlackBerry fans ravenous? Just like the leaked images of the BlackBerry London, it certainly looks like a step up from the current line. So maybe we’ll see something worth getting genuinely excited about out of RIM. Maybe. [CrackBerry]

Are they actually calling this range of phones “the metropolitan line”?
Because
a. They may find themeselves back in court, this time with TFL
b. It’s a name synonymous with old, slow stock that doesn’t really take you anywhere worth going.
Ha ha, no that was my handy work. They’d all be purple and stink to high-heaven too. Seeing as RIM’s employees seem bent on destroying the company, I wouldn’t put it past them, you know.
