Got a Nokia Lumia 800? Check For Updates

By Jim Ranson on at

Nokia's in the process of rolling out an update to its current flagship Windows Phone 7 device, the Lumia 800. It's a minor one, no massive changes, although it should help out on the battery-sucking front a little, as the update provides power efficiency improvements.

Other small changes include improvements to the audio quality, voicemail notifications, brightness adjustment in bright light, and replying to mail for Exchange 2003 users. It's not the update that'll boost the battery capacity, we'll have to wait till next year for that, but hopefully it'll help. You'll have to resort to Zune or Windows Phone 7 Connector on your desktop to grab the update, which should hopefully crop up for you within in the next couple of weeks.
