LG's Android 4.0 Updates Arriving in Q2 and Q3 of 2012

LG has added a few more models to its list of Android phones that will see an update to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version of Google's OS, confirming that its bonkers looking Prada 3.0 is scheduled to get an upgrade in Q2 of next year.

It'll take the company a few months to update its extremely wide and varied range of Android phones to the new version of the mobile OS, with the first batch of models to see the update in Q2 also including the dual-core Optimus 2X.

Sadly, owners of the enormous Optimus 3D and the super skinny Optimus Black will be waiting until Q3 of 2012 for their update. That is very nearly a million years away from now in smartphone years. [LG]
