Hmm most people know I am not exactly keen on Jesus (for a start he is all to happy to use the ban hammer because someone disagrees with him) but the 20th most viral person in the world, surely not.
Had to giggle about what a US commenter said:

Yeah, sorry what? Jesus Diaz is not the 20th most viral person in the world. That’s just not true!

Well, I think you’re there with alot of us. His writing style is more suited for The Sun or a Sky/Fox News writer.
Personally, I think his ego will get the better of him, and move on.
His writing/grammar is absolutely attrocious sometimes as well.

And yes, while I do agree on some of the points raised above, having worked with him for 18 months I can vouch for how viral his stuff can get — there were many times the major news stations and nationals ripped his original reporting off, with nary a credit.
Having been banned 4 times (I think, you tend to lose count) by Mr Diaz I certainly won’t be joining the fan club any time soon. My fear is, since he shows no sign of moving on while so many other have, he might one day end up as Editor of Giz. *shudders*

All of the writers on the US Gizmodo have “editor” on their profiles — it just means they edit their own work. (Though you could argue some do that better than others
