We hope tonight's party-goers put their dancing shoes on before going to work this morning, because tonight is going to rock. Our launch party received a mammoth amount of interest -- over 300 RSVPs for a venue that can only fit 150 inside, so unfortunately we had to break a few hearts and let some RSVP-ers down gently. But not to worry, because if you missed out this time 'round, you'll be first in the queue for our next meet-up, I promise you.
If you had your RSVP accepted by an email response, and still plan on coming tonight, we'll see you from 6.30. Though we're expecting large numbers to arrive before 7pm, so if you want to improve your chances of getting inside, it might be an idea to turn up a bit later -- we'll be open until 10pm, giving out prizes (and those sought-after O2 4G dongles!) until then. If anyone is faced with a long queue or even a full venue when they arrive, there are plenty of bars and restaurants inside the O2 arena to kill some time in before trying again.
Any Tweeters who want to talk about tonight's shindig can use the hashtag #Giz4Gparty, which is the best way to make sure your tweets appear on the Twitter walls we'll have set up at the party (instant fame!) and also the best way for party-goers to enter some of the competitions we'll have on offer. I'll also be Tweeting over at @GizmodoUK if you want to follow party goss in real-time.
If you don't live in London; couldn't make the party, or sadly missed out on an invite, keep your eyes peeled for future Giz meet-ups. In the meantime though, we'll be throwing up photos and video from the night over the next few days, so check in tomorrow for a look at your commenting comrades. And if you keep your eyes locked to the O2 UK Official Flickr account, photos of the event will be up there in the next few days, with one of the pics showing a Motorola RAZR hiding somewhere. Let us know where it is, and you win the phone!
See you tonight!
