Zynga's popular mobile word puzzle game has earned itself the sort of publicity money can't buy, with actor Alec Baldwin preferring to get himself kicked off an American Airlines flight than stop playing Word With Friends.
Taking to Twitter to voice his outrage over being asked to stop playing his little game like all the polite normal people on the flight, Baldwin said: "Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving," adding the hashtag "#nowonderamericaairisbankrupt" to the tweet to underline his fury.
It's perhaps not the entire truth of the matter, though, as one other traveller who was on the same flight tweeted that Baldwin was being abusive to the flight attendant. Hopefully someone will soon unearth the Twitter ID of the attendant involved for another take on this childish outrage. [Yahoo! via Gawker]
