The Israel Anti-Drug Authority thought that the new Facebook profile timeline would be a perfect way to convince people not to take drugs, using it to show a life with and without drugs. It’s clever and cute.

I hate the use of the word “drug”. Not all “drugs” are the same and most of them certainly won’t turn you into what the picture shows. Taking caffeine, MDMA, or LSD for example. This just adds to the misinformation and propaganda surrounding illegal substances.
Unless you’re the 1% snorting coke off supermodels, chances are the people you’re shooting up with already look like that. Hardly a deterrence.
For the 99% the closest we will have got to this is sniffing glue off Airfix Models

Must admit I agree its the whole Meph (meow) Fiasco all over again that palaver where almost all of the reported cases were either nothing to do with Meph or caused by people mixing god knows what. My point being drugs should be tested and not just Classed on hearsay.
If Alcohol was introduced now and not so ingrained in to our society do you really think the government would let us keep consuming a drug which makes you act differently, causes vomiting, blackouts etc and in the long term destroys your liver.
and would my favourite brand of ‘deathsticks’ still be allowed to me by the government if introduced today, no, now if you don’t mind I’m off for a cigg.
