In news that’s bound to be music to many an offended partner’s ears – falling asleep immediately after getting busy is apparently a sign of love.
According to research by some evolutionary psychologists, if your significant other falls asleep just after your worlds are jointly rocked, it means that they’re after greater bonding and affection.
Daniel Kruger from the University of Michigan, lead author of the study published in the Journal of Social, Evolutionary, and Cultural Psychology said:
“The more one’s partner was likely to fall asleep after sex, the stronger the desire for bondingâ€
Of course it could be utter claptrap, and you’re just knackered. Either that or you’re really in love because your partner snores like a walrus and you have to get to sleep first. [Times of India]
