You haven’t cleaned the litterbox in what, two weeks now? It’s all well and good that you’ve acclimated to the overwhelming stench of ammonia and kitty poop, but what about when guests come over? With some minor mods and a little electrical engineering, you can keep your home from smelling of feline by-products without actually having to be a responsible pet owner and clean up!
The Odorless Cat Litter Box by Instructibles submitter, Projectwriter, is reportedly cheap and simple to construct using easily-scavengable items. “This project costs less than £23 to make and can be prepared from affordable household’s and recyclable objects. The design is perfect for flat dwellers,” said Projectwriter. Then again, a slotted spoon will run you what — two, three quid? [Instructables via Hacked Gadgets]

If you have cats that don’t go outside and you aren’t changing the litter every day then someone needs to call the RSPCA.
Yeah, I can attest – I’ve got two bengal’s and they can systematically destroy two trays each a day. Damn those cats stink. Might install a turbocharged one of these as I can’t see anything wrong with putting a spinning suction fan next to where my cat has its quiet time…
This article is somewhat irresponsible, encouraging you to deal with the problem in a very lazy way. If you have cats, you should look after them. If you do this, you are not looking after them.
Surely the more effective and more lazy way is to cut fluids and sustenance from the cat’s diet, thereby cutting down on the amount of waste?
This would have the effect of cutting down on the number of cats, which would mean the smell would go up quite a bit after a short while.
When can we paste gifs and youtoob links! My meme folder is feeling highly underused :/

Its not that difficult to clean out a litter tray once a day. Sure, use the fan and don’t clean out often but don’t complain when the cat decides to do its business somewhere cleaner… like behind the TV, or in your shoe.
When I had 2 cats I bought a Littermaid. Not cheap but having to clean an odorless litter tray out once a week at most was worth the initial expense.
So the cat goes stomping around in a week old litter tray then walks around on your kitchen counters. But its ok! You cant smell it anymore..
and they “clean” themselves with spit
