Sony’s rolling out a BBC News app to go alongside its existing BBC iPlayer app, giving news seekers on-demand video and text formatted for the TV screen.

All the faltering Japanese giant’s Internet TVs will get the app, but no dice for the PS3 or Sony’s Blu-ray players unfortunately.
