The rage of the recent American SOPA protesters saw an unusual spike in traffic for the Scottish Organic Producers Association, which began receiving threatening emails demanding it stops doing what it's doing.
Which is a little odd, as the "manifesto" of www.sopa.org.uk is clearly stated as: "Strengthening the prosperity and sustainability of member's businesses by being the champion of the development of organic food & farming in Scotland."
Who could possibly have a problem with that?
Clearly some angry US citizens got a little confused, apparently submitting dozens of anti-SOPA messages along the lines of "Stop what you are doing. NOW. Your laws are stupid!!" to the innocent farming association. [The Register]
