Haje can answer in more detail, but I believe he got an American friend to set up the Kickstarter account for him. I hope Kickstarter does recognise that plenty of people around the world want to set their projects up on there, and opens it globally -- not least because the UK wannabe sites aren't anywhere close to Kickstarter.

Are you British/based in Britain? I ask because obviously the article mentioned GBP pretty often and I've wanted to start a Kickstarter project for ages but unfortunately to do so you must:

"Be a US resident and at least 18 years of age with a social security number (or EIN), a US bank account, US address, US state-issued ID (driver’s license), and major US credit or debit card."

Being English I have none of these and was wondering how/if you got around those requirements.

Congrats and we'll done for not giving up Haje especially when things seemed to be doomed. As a software tester I can appreciate how much time it takes to get things working properly, of course this is the bit the end users never see but is vital to the users needs and ultimately the success of the product.

I have not read the whole article (I'm at work and it is rather long) but have been following the progress of trigertrap since I first read about it. While I'm not into photography myself I could see the usefulness of such a device and was amazed that the market niche had not been filled. Well done and good luck in the future.
