Anonymous Suspects Arrested in Global Crackdown

Several alleged members of the Anonymous activist group will soon be asked to confirm their names and addresses by authorities, thanks to a global clampdown that has seen dozens of supposed Anonymous members arrested.

Coordinated by Interpol and designed as a response to attacks on government and utility sites in Latin America, the arrests saw 25 alleged hackers grabbed in Argentina, Chile, Colombia and Spain, with around 250 computers and other devices seized as part of the process.

The Spanish interior minister is happy with the results, claiming the "manager" of the group's Spanish and Latin American division is one of those currently being held. [Telegraph]
