Good news Sensation users – by the end of March you should have a tasty new version of Android running on your phones if you’re hold a Sensation or Sensation XE, with the XL following “soon thereafter”. HTC Evo 3D, Incredible S, Desire S and Desire HD will all get Android 4.0 too, but “later this year”.
Let’s just hope the others don’t get left too far behind, with HTC’s attention drawn on the inevitable new raft of ICS-packing phones set to debut at MWC at the end of the month. If you can’t wait, there’s always another way. [Facebook]
Yay… I can look forward to the already beautiful looking ICS, but with Sense smothered on top of it instead :\
Once it is released the ROM hackers will release a stock ICS version within a day or so.
I’ve never replaced the ROM, rooted or anything along those lines on my phone. Would be nice just to have an official stock android release to put on my phone
