Ever wished your phone was also a remote? Want no longer – the Lumigon T2 rolls both an Android 4.0-packing phone and a learning IR-blaster for your living room-domination needs.
The kooky kids over at Denmark-based Lumigon have kitted out the T2 with a 1.4GHz Snapdragon chip; an eight-megapixel shooter on the back with a chat-cam on the front; a 3.8-inch Gorilla Glass-covered “ultra-sharp” screen, and fancy Bang & Olufsen ICEpower sound. It's also got NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and compass, as well as a FM radio to keep you entertained when away from the goggle box.
The phone will learn your standard remote’s ways and blast ‘em back out at the touch of a customisable button or wave of the phone. It all reminds me of those awesome remote watches we used to mess around with in school, driving the teachers crazy while they were trying to force us to watch that geography video about oxbow lakes. Expect the T2 to drop in “selected markets” in Europe within the first half of 2012. [Lumigon]
