The word on the street is yes; lucky Brits with enough cash in their wallets will apparently be able to lay down a not insignificant sum to claim one of Samsung’s amazing 55-inch ‘super’ OLED TVs for their very own.
There’s no pricing or exact date attached to the rumour I’m afraid, just spring 2012. But just the thought of being able to actually buy one of these beauties is making me salivate. It’s so thin, so vivid, so clear – it’s what every TV should be. Of course there’s no way I’m going to be able to afford one myself, but I can dream right? [Cnet UK]
Update: Samsung’s been in contact to say that contrary to the word on the street us Brits will unfortunately have to wait till the second half of the year, June onwards, for this beauty.
