LG’s let out a video of its Galaxy Note rival, the Optimus Vu before its official showing off at MWC. In it you’ll get to see the wonders of its 5-inch IPS screen; some finger writing action, and a close up of its camera – how I managed to contain myself I just don’t know.
For what its worth, it does look a lot sleeker in the video than I thought it would, and although it’s 5-inch 4:3 screen is pretty big, the device itself doesn’t look gargantuan. Will anyone really buy into South Korea’s phablet phase though? I’m not so sure. [YouTube via Engadget]

For an actual working device not one for play the aspect ratio and screen size look like they would probably work fairly well to be honest. I am not a fan of any small tablet to be honest but these aren’t any more pointless than other devices in the 5-7″ range where it seems to me personal preference or fitness for purpose should be the decider.
