ClimateCars has just added the electric Renault Fluence Z.E. to its line-up of eco-friendly London taxis just in time for the Olympics. Londoners will be able to zip along knowing that they’re not pumping out noxious gases while sitting in traffic, or at least their cab isn’t.
The Fluence Z.E. will do 115 miles on a single charge, powered by a 94bhp electric motor, and it won’t cost you a penny more than the non-green taxis in London – you’ll still need to take out a mortgage to get anywhere far then. [Ubergizmo]

Hello Sam, 1st of all I loved the Gizmodo for its well decorate and well maintained blog posts and I am the regular visitor of this blog. As being a Car lover, I also like to tell that if the Green Cab system will be opened in the UK as a whole, then it will be good for our environment as well. The Brand companies of cars like Toyota, Hyundai etc should implement the Green Car Technology and definitely make some cars. Thanks for sharing this short-n-simple blog article with the readers. Keep it up.
