Motorola’s taking the Android voice assistant fight to Apple with a series of totally unbiased videos showing Android kicking Siri’s arse.
Whether the sheer speed with which Android voice actions completes the tasks on the Atrix 2 is real or not – Motorola might have fiddled with the video a tad, who knows – it’s still impressive to see Android pulling its own weight in the voice assistant stakes.
There is a technical difference however -- Voice actions can only interpret set commands and not natural language like Siri can. It’s been baked into Android since 2010 though and seems a lot more useful that iOS’s previous effort, Voice Control – now that was a complete and utter waste of time. [9to5Mac]
