The Raspberry Pi is so close I can almost taste it. I’m not quite sure why I’m so excited about it; maybe it’s the low cost and pure hackability of it. At any rate, we now have a video walking you through its brand new Fedora Remix to ogle over.
The OS will pack the usual goodies like a proper GUI, Firefox and some basic utilities, all squeezed to fit on a 2GB SD card. The Fedora Remix, produced by the folks from Seneca College, will be the officially recommended OS for the tasty Pi, which apparently should be out of testing in China on Thursday and on its way to Britain soon — I can’t wait.
