MY LIFE IS OUT OF CONTROL I want to manage my data and documents better. I want my music to sound better. I want my brain to work better. I want to watch videos on a bigger screen than my phone. And… I want to take funny pictures to make myself feel better about it. These apps should help.

I think you’ll find that Paper Camera is a far superior camera app. It isn’t free though. Think I got it on the free app of the day w/Amazon.
It ceases to amaze me as to why people think that EQ’ing their music is a good idea. When a track leaves a mastering studio it has been EQ’d to the mastering engineers liking, who has better trained ears than 99.5% of the worlds population. Why would you want to EQ your music AGAIN (more processing reduces sound quality)to sound how it shouldn’t of ever sounded?
Well that’s a silly comment.
Everyone has different speakers. That’s why.
Not to mention that it’s subjective, a matter of taste.
Agreed.
I prefer it if my car didn’t shake to pieces every time I wanted to blast ‘Who let the dog’s out’ at highest volume possible.
Setting the levels, allows me to share with all and sundry outside of my vehicle, while still being able to appreciate the topical lyrics without distortion.
I could’t do that if I relied on the band’s producer’s choice of levelling… my ears would begin to bleed, and those that appreciate good quality audio would be beating the crap out of me at my nearest drive through mcdonalds.
I can understand lowering frequencies, that’s logical. Boosting them on the other hand I disagree with, in particular with the bottom end of the spectrum and especially with a cheap soft EQ. Most music nowadays lacks dynamic range and is probably peaking at dead on 0db, boosting frequencies is just gonna lead to distortion, which interestingly, a lot of people don’t seem to grasp the concept of.
Probably was a stupid comment for me to make though, I was incredibly tired
