It’s been ages since we had a new Bond film, and at one stage I was worried that Bond had been terminal with Daniel Craig. Thankfully Skyfall is on its way with more fast cars, awesome gadgets and a good taste of suave-yet-brutal British espionage.
It’s helmed by Sam Mendes of American Beauty and Jarhead fame, and he’s got a great ensemble under his control including Javier Bardem; Ralph Fiennes; Bérénice Marlohe; Naomie Harris; Ben Whishaw; Albert Finney, and of course, Judi Dench as M. I have high hopes for this one, even if Craig isn’t my favourite Bond (I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan — guilty as charged).
Skyfall will hit our cinemas on the 26th of October, and I simply can’t wait. Now, how about a trailer already? Too soon MGM? [007 via Orange]
