Petros Vrellis has turned Vincent Van Gogh’s The Starry Night into an animation that changes when the user touches it. The effect is so beautiful and mesmerising that I’m now craving an app that would let me do the same.

Amanzing, this needs to be an app
Huh – rubbish – makes no sense used on this fine piece.
Would have been better applied to say Claude Monet’s Water-Lilies, Evening Effect, or San Giorgio Maggiore at Dusk. And it would still be pointless. Gimmick, perhaps more suited to original interactive art pieces. Tech Art, may give Hockney a hard-on though.
I thought it was wonderful.
The way it flows and merges so beautifully I have a feeling Van Gogh would have liked it too.
good at first when its subtle. not so good later when he’s dragging his fingers across it
[ & not much at all without the music ]
