Channel 4's New 4seven Channel Will Show, Ugh, Old Programs That People Tweeted About Lots

By Gary Cutlack on at

Need yet another way to watch endless repeats of Location, Location, Location? Channel 4's got one lined up in the shape of 4seven, a new channel set to repeat the "noisiest" and most popular elements of its output.

David Abraham, Channel 4's chief executive, said: "4seven will give viewers more chances to catch the most popular and talked about Channel 4 shows from the last seven days."

The channel says it will schedule content that is "creating noise" in social media and with bloggers and commentators, although whether that means some sort of audience-measuring tool will be used to ensure only the popular shows feature on this new catch-up channel isn't made clear.

We'll find out when 4seven launches across "all major TV platforms" later this year. [Channel 4]
