HTC has signed a deal with the maker of remote phone access tools LogMeIn, which will see future HTC Android models loaded with a version of its LogMeIn Rescue app.
This will let HTC support engineers access your phone directly, as long as it's not so broken or dripping wet that it can't get a working data connection, so they can have a go at working out what's wrong with it when you phone them up.
No mention's been made of which HTC models will be the first to see the LogMeIn Rescue appear on their pre-loaded app list. Presumably this announcement's come too late to see it shoved on to the new HTC One series models, but you never know. [LogMeIn via AC]
