More Porn-Peepers Get Card Details Stolen In Second Smut Site Hack

By Sam Gibbs on at

Following on from YouPorn’s embarrassment back in February, a fresh hack on another internet sex site, Digital Playground, has seen over 40,000 credit card details stolen along with the logins, emails and passwords of some 73,000 porn-lovers, leaving them all with their pants down and wallets empty.

According to a hacking group called The Consortium, who were previously unknown to the public eye, the hack was trivially easy. Card details; addresses; expiry dates; security codes, and everything else you could possibly need to go on a massive shopping spree at someone else’s expense were all stored in plain text – talk about asking for it.

Digital Playground is run by the same Canadian company, Manwin, that ran the hacked YouPorn chat too. So, if you’re a subscriber to any of Manwin's other smut-peddling sites, now might be a good time to cancel your subs, cards, and delete your accounts. You don’t really need all that porn, right?
