Motorola Ordered to Hand Google's Android Secrets Over to Apple

By Gary Cutlack on at

A US judge has told Motorola to give Apple details concerning the development of Google's Android OS, along with more information covering the recently approved purchase of Motorola Mobility by the search giant.

The data's believed to cover Google's wider future Android roadmap as well as historical material, although, after the ruling, Motorola claimed it has no "possession, custody, or control" over Google's employees or actions, so shouldn't be expected to force Google to hand over its Android plans.
