O2 Launches its Galaxy SII Android 4.0 Update

The "Ice Cream Sandwich" update for Samsung's amazingly popular Galaxy SII has widened its reach a little today, with UK network O2 announcing that it's pushed out the Android 4.0 update for the hot Android phone.

As with most Samsung updates, this one's handled through its desktop KIES updating software, so once you've received the notification from O2's servers the rest of it's done through a USB connection to a PC. Then you get this to play with and it'll be like having a new phone all over again. [O2]
