Spotify has revolutionised the way quite a lot of people get their music. You’re no longer stuck listening to the same old tracks over and over with access to a 15 million strong library. Problem is, the costs quickly mount-up if your whole family wants to sip from the musical teat of Spotify, but not for much longer – family plans are "definitely coming."
Talking to The Verge, Spotify's chief content officer Ken Parks said that family plans are in the works. Pricing and availability isn’t available just yet, but we’ll likely see discounts in the region of 10 to 20 per cent, maybe more, over multiple individual accounts. Every little helps these days, and you wouldn’t want little Timmy to miss out on all those awesome streaming tunes, driving him to piracy and then feeling the wrath of the music industry's lawyers, would you? Well, WOULD YOU? [The Verge]
