Virgin Media has just launched a selection of ‘Red Button’ interactive features, designed to give sports fans yet more angles of footballers gobbing on themselves. And it’ll also make Virgin’s broadcasting of Sky’s 2012 F1 coverage all the more in-depth.
Initially, Virgin users can access Sky Sports Red Button services, with Sky Sports and Sky Sports HD subscribers now able to enjoy multi-screen coverage through their Virgin TiVo boxes.
Given that Sky is blowing a huge amount of money on its new F1 coverage which starts this year and will be including Red Button enhanced features, 2012 ought to be a good year for F1 fans who use Virgin for their telly. [Virgin Media]

From what i hear this years F1 coverage will be mind bogglingly brilliant for F1 fans.
Personally i don’t see the point and get fairly bored watching it, though it is quite good telly to snooze in front of, just like cricket!
Friend of mine was quoted £30 a month for access to the F1 channel by Virgin..the competition commission needs to sort this mess out. You could easily end up paying £80 a month just to watch the F1 and the football at the weekend. Joke.
I’ve posted it before and, by Golly, I’ll post it again.
The real cost of F1 on Virgin works out, for me, at £40.50 per race:

Needless to say, I now have Sky.
