Want a Budget iPad? How About a Cut-Price iPad 2?

By Sam Gibbs on at

Apple has just launched the third generation iPad, but it's going the same route as the iPhone and keeping the old model around to target budget consumers. It's not that budget though, but it is just £329 for the 16GB Wi-Fi and £429 for Wi-Fi+3G.

If you're interested in an iPad but can't stomach £400, the iPad 2 isn't exactly a poor substitute, but it's not exactly a bargain either at just £70 less than the new Retina Display-packing iPad.
