Music ID service Shazam is teaming up with ITV, in a deal that'll see "interactive" adverts broadcast on television. Because we all love interacting with adverts, don't we?
The announcement of the deal is peppered with marketing speak like "empower leading brands" and "extended engagement" which, we think, means you'll be able to hold your phone up to the TV when an advert for a car comes on, then go to a web site about the car in question. Plus there will be competitions and suchlike.
