Time-lapse has the ability to turn something that you wouldn’t exactly call classically beautiful into stunning, moving works of art. Dubai is one of those somethings. This gorgeous-looking time-lapse video turns something that’s just a patch of sprawling urban landscape crawling out of the sand into an electric beauty reminiscent of Tron.
I have never felt any desire to visit Dubai before, but this makes me look at it in a whole new light. Maybe it’d be worth dropping in on once. You can video more of Bentley’s work over on his blog.

This 24-Hour Dubai Timelapse Is So Beautiful It Doesn't Seem Real
Oh wow… I’ve always wanted to go to Dubai, it looks magical.
No pork products, no pornography, no poppy seeds (a minor point but a guy was held at the airport after crumbs from a sandwich he ate containing seeds were found on his clothes) no swearing, no making rude gestures, no kissing or holding hands in public, no adultery, no sex before marriage (unmarried couples strictly cannot share a hotel room), a woman’s clothing may be considered indecent if it is tight, transparent, above the knee or shows her stomach, shoulders or back, men should not wear shorts or show their chests, no homosexuality, no photographing some public or government buildings (hope this guy isn’t in a Dubai prison) and during Ramadan visitors cannot eat, smoke or drink in public or enjoy live music. Beautiful? Perhaps, but that beauty is only skin deep and I won’t be visiting until they come out of the dark ages!
You literally have NO idea what you’re talking about. Be little more informed and stop spouting reacationary bibble.
I can’t even be bothered to tell you where you’re wrong. Educate yourself.
They were snippets from Sky News so by all means inform us on the land of equality known as UAE.
While I admit it’s not super liberal like the west, it’s not Saudi either.
For the most part law doesn’t give a damn about what happens behind closed doors or on private property. And yes, I am speaking from experience.
Fair enough.
I have been several times for work,i personally have never had a problem with the law out there.
however i definatly wouldnt holiday there.
