How to Grab Yourself Up to 100GB of Free Dropbox Space For Life

By Sam Gibbs on at

Everyone loves more cloud storage space, especially when it's from the much-loved Dropbox, despite Google trying to tempt you away with its newfangled G Drive. You'll have to do a bit of work for this one though, but the rewards are up to 100GB for free for life and a special Dropbox hoodie too.

Dropbox has announced its second annual "Dropquest", which takes you on a "magical journey through Dropbox and the interwebs" to solve a series puzzles on the hunt for more free space.

Everyone that completes Dropquest will get at least 1GB more free space, which isn't to be sniffed at alone. Bigger prizes are up for grabs on top of your 1GB though, jumping up through 2, 5, 20 and 100GB for life. You'll have to be quick on the draw to win yourself 100GB free for life though, but you'll also net yourself a load of Dropbox goodies like a hoodie; some signed stuff, and a T-shirt, plus you'll get to mastermind the next Dropquest too. Here's a full list of what you could bag yourself:

1st place (1) Dropbox employee hoodie, LIMITED EDITION Dropbox Hack Week t-shirt, Dropbox drawing signed by the entire Dropbox team, invitation to help write the next Dropquest, 100 GB for life
2nd place (10) Dropbox employee hoodie, Dropbox t-shirt, 20 GB for life
3rd place (15) Dropbox t-shirt, 5 GB for life
4th place (50) 2 GB for life
5th place (100) 1 GB for life

The scavenger hunt kicks off at 6pm (17:00GMT) on May 12th, so get your puzzling brains ready to claim yourself some free space and swag. [Dropbox]
