Microsoft has been rolling out a pretty stern anti-piracy front recently. It’s been censoring BitTorrent links like crazy in Messenger, as well as sending an absolutely massive amount of take-down notices to Google, but all that hasn’t stopped its staff pirating stuff. Apparently Microsoft employees love a good BitTorrent, including a splash of porn at work.
TorrentFreak used the public torrent IP-tracking service, YouHaveDownloaded, to see what known Microsoft IP addresses have been downloading, and the data is very revealing indeed. Last year, Microsofters from Washington seemingly download a fair few movies, including skin-flicks, while slightly more high-brow Virginia-based employees liked to download educational books.
It’s not really surprising given the sheer number of employees Microsoft has, but you’d think it’d want to block or filter the copyright infringing downloads, especially given its recent public anti-piracy stance. I guess the most disturbing thing is that it seems certain Microsoft personnel like a bit of “me time” while at work; now that’s just plain wrong. [TorrentFreak]

I’d love to see this done for other big companies and also Governments, since they are the ones pursuing & passing anti-piracy laws.
I can’t express how much I love this. But seriously, no one should be downloading porn at work unless it *is* work; that’s just silly behavior.
Amazing and amusing to hear haha!
Love the photo Sam

Only so much you can do to stop people doing this sort of stuff at work, without employing somebody to watch internet logs 100% of the time.
I would say why would anyone watch porn in work, but i have actually been in our conference room with half the office while a film called “10 man cum slam” was on. (it was part of a joke before you ask)
That image will never get old.
You said it!
Apparently Microsoft employees like to browse Gizmodo on full screen…
Doesn’t everyone?
Currently rocking full screen at 1024 x 768, oh the joys of browsing at work.
At home it’s nothing less than 1680 x 1050…*sigh*
