Because they’re commonly banished to rec rooms and basements and bars, foosball tables are rarely judged for their looks. In fact, the vast majority of them are very ugly. But after seeing this fine piece of design work by RS Barcelona, maybe it’s time to reconsider.
The RS#3 Wood isn’t the first foosball table RS Barcelona has designed, but as the name implies, it is their first with wooden legs, giving the overall design a boost in the sophistication department. Pricing and availability info is still to be determined, but expect to hear more about this and the rest of RS Barcelona’s lineup at the upcoming International Contemporary Furniture Fair. Looks like any other foosball table to me.
I was thinking the same thing.
It looks good to me! – but I guess these things are subjective

I’m no expert, but, that’s good looking?
Each to their own I guess.
Though I’d be tempted to have a go designing my own to compete
Foosball? Foosball?! FOOSBALL?? Here in England it’s called a FOOTBALL table.
It is actually called a “Foosball” Table here, I entered a team into the UK Championships at Stamford Bridge, West London (I believe it was run by the Governing body the: British Foosball Association) about 4 years ago. Sometimes it’s referred to as: “Table Football” but “Football Table” certainly isn’t in common usage among players at least.
The table above is ugly IMO, with it’s exposed rivets and ‘plastic’ look. I’ve seen some awesome work with Mahogany, Fibreglass, Ceramics, Glass and Slate on tables that would put this to shame.
Thanks for that, and yes this table isn’t that nice looking. IMO, this is what a beautiful Foosball Table looks like- http://www.firebox.com/product/4572/11-The-Beautiful-Game-Luxury-Table-Football
And that just shows me that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. To me, that looks like a bathtub!
Aaaaah, but it’s a very nice bathtub.
If you’re the sort of person for whom a nice bath consists of you, 22 little men and their balls…then all power to you!
This might be an alright looking table at best.
However, if you truly want a thing of beauty have a gander at a colleague of mines creation. http://www.elevenforty.com/opus/
Also, when you realise the monumental difference in quality please do an article on it so the world can see its majesty. (Did I mention it lights up?)
